I no longer have count on how many times I’ve visited London during the past few years, but still I keep experiencing new things every time I go. That’s the good thing about such big cities! This time having afternoon tea was the new thing on the list for me. Afternoon tea is a classic English meal including tea (du’uh), finger sandwiches, scones and sweets, and it is something I’m honestly shocked I haven’t tried before. This is really something I recommend doing when in town!
Our London expert Anita found this lovely place called Caffé Concerto for us to enjoy our afternoon tea at. It was (very) reasonably priced and included a small bottle of prosecco for each guest. Score! The café is located in the nice neighborhood of South Kensington, and really matched this fancy area. Nice interior, good service and an overall good experience.
A tip: For the best afternoon tea prices, about 10-20 GBP per person, look up vouchers and deals on apps and pages such as Groupon. You won’t regret it.
